Correlation of FGFR2 rs2981582 polymorphisms with susceptibility to breast cancer: a case-control study in a Chinese population

Abstract: ObjectiveBreast cancer (BC) is a common malignancy among women worldwide. Fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2) rs2981582 is reported to play a vital role in BC development. However, the relationship between them remains unclear.MethodsNinety-five patients and 140 healthy controls were enrolled in the study. Plasma DNA was genotyped by the MassARRAY method. A meta-analysis was conducted to clarify the effect of FGFR2 polymorphism on BC risk.ResultsOur case-control study results revealed a significant dif… Show more

“…DMFc [8,19] remains the most popular electron donor for biphasic HER and ORR in the dark. Clearly, its low redox potential, solubility in organic solvents, extremely low solubility in water and relative stability of DMFc + cation is superior.…”

“…The suitable conditions for biphasic ORR are the same as for biphasic HER except oxygen is not removed from the system. When ferrocene derivative solution in hydrophobic polar solvent [19,42,[83][84][85][86][87][88][89][90][91] or in hydrophobic ionic liquid (IL) [92,93] is in contact with aqueous acidic solution, 2 electrons ORR occurs:…”

“…Risk alleles of various SNPs found in FGFR2, they are associated with ER-positive cancers [135], increased FGFR2 expression [136], lymph node metastasis in breast cancer [137] and radiation-induced breast cancer risk [138]. More recently another study identified an FGFR2 SNP that was linked with susceptibility to breast cancer in a Chinese population [139]. However, only a few SNP loci are confirmed in FGFR1 that correlate significantly with a breast cancer predisposition [140].…”
