Correlation of asprosin and Nrg-4 with type 2 diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Coronary Heart Disease and the Diagnostic Value

Abstract: Purpose Asprosin is a newly discovered adipose factor secreted by white fat, which is involved in glucose metabolism and inflammation. Neuregulin-4 (Nrg-4) is a new adipose factor released from brown adipose tissue and is considered to play an important role in metabolism. This study aims to explore the association between serum Asprosin, Nrg-4 level and coronary heart disease(CHD) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and the diagnostic value. Patients … Show more

“… 22 Still, it was lower than the cutoff reported to predict coronary heart disease in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (11.175 ng/mL). 47 The Nrg4 level cutoff for diagnosing NAFLD in children and adolescents with obesity was 3.39 ng/mL, 36 approximately near our cutoff. The reported cutoffs of Nrg4 levels are somewhat different, but one finding is consistent in all studies: the decreased levels of Nrg4 in pathologic conditions.…”

“…A study by Zhong et al presented a correlation between asprosin and TyG with r = 0.327; however, the research was conducted with diabetic patients [ 38 ]. Therefore, it seems that the correlation between TyG and asprosin is present in both non-diabetic and diabetic patients.…”

“…Walaupun demikian, kepatuhan untuk melakukan exercise masih rendah, serta banyaknya variasi exercise yang diungkap dari banyak penelitian. Exercise bisa berupa latihan dengan intensitas rendah (low Intensity Exercise), sedang (moderate intensity exercise), maupun tinggi (high intensity exercise) (Thukral et al, 2023;Van Ryckeghem et al, 2022;Zhong et al, 2023).…”
