“…Estudos comparando o teste provocativo da ibopamina e a curva tensional diária em pacientes com glaucoma têm sido realizados, mostrando correlação estatisticamente significativa (23) , porém mais estudos comparando o teste provocativo da ibopamina, a curva tensional diária e a curva hídrica fazem-se necessários. Diante disso, sugere-se que, nos próximos estudos, seja feita a comparação do teste provocativo da ibopamina e de seus resultados nos glaucomas iniciais, avaliando os pacientes que apresentaram uma resposta assimétrica anos após o teste, para saber se o olho que apresentou uma resposta mais acentuada no primeiro momento apresentou também defeito perimétrico mais acentuado, o que pode, no futuro, ajudar no seguimento desses pacientes.…”
