Correlation between Lpa, APO-A, APO-B, and Stenosis of Middle Cerebral Artery in Patients with Cerebral Ischemic Stroke

Abstract: Ischemic stroke (CIS) is characterized by a high incidence, disability, and mortality. Numerous studies have demonstrated that intracranial arterial stenosis is an important pathological basis of CIS, and its main cause is atherosclerosis. Dyslipidemia is an important risk factor for atherosclerosis. Lysophosphatidic acid (Lpa), apolipoprotein -A(APO-A), and apolipoprotein -B(APO-B) proved to be significantly correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease. This study retrospectively collected the case… Show more

“… Shrestha D, 2022 38 Nepal Cross-sectional Acute MI To estimate the blood level of ApoB and determine its usefulness alongside analysis of TC, TG, HDL, LDLc, non-HDL cholesterol, LDL/HDL ratio in AMI patients Healthy Controls 73 Significantly higher level of Apo was found in Acute MI with moderate correlation with non-HDL-C and HDL-C, necessitating its usage as a complementary marker to conventional lipid profile. Chen X, 2022 39 China Cohort Ischemic stroke To analyze the correlation between Lpa, APO-A, APO-B, and middle cerebral artery (MCA) stenosis in CIS patients, aiming to provide a new research direction for clinical prevention and treatment of Ischemic stroke (CIS). Individuals without middle cerebral artery (MCA) stenosis 186 Levels of Lpa, APO-A, and APO-B in the peripheral blood of CIS patients have a certain correlation with the degree of MCA stenosis.…”
