Correlation between HbA1C and Infarct Volume in Acute Ischemic Stroke

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Stroke is second leading cause of death worldwide. Chronic hyperglycemia can promote neuronal toxicity. The previous study shows that acute hyperglycemia is correlated with infarct volume of ischemic stroke.
