Correlation between fatty acids levels in chicken, duck, goose, pigeon, quail and turkey egg yolks and post‐thawed quality of ram semen

Abstract: The comparison between adding egg yolks (EY) of chicken, duck, goose, pigeon, Japanese quail or turkey to the Tris glycerol extender on the quality of ram semen before freezing and post‐thawing was evaluated. The correlation between fatty acids levels in egg yolks of different avian species and the post‐thawed quality of ram semen was studied.
