Corrections to “Propagation Properties of Gaussian Schell-Model Beam Array in the Jet Engine Exhaust Induced Turbulence” [Dec 20 Art no. 6501113]

Abstract: We correct a few typographical errors in the original manuscript. In our paper [1], some inadvertent typing errors have been found and corrected as below. The word "Huygens-Fresnel" is misspelled in the Abstract section and in the last paragraph of Introduction section. "1 − 10 × 10 10 m −2/3 " should be revised to "1 − 10 × 10 −10 m −2/3 " in the first paragraph of Introduction section. The title of section 3.2 should be revised to "3.2 The Spectral Degree of Spatial Coherence".

“…[41] Lately, there has been increased interest in examining the propagation of some optical beams in jet engine exhaust. [42][43][44][45][46][47][48][49] When a laser beam is emitted from a source and propagates through both jet engine-induced turbulence and atmospheric turbulence before reaching a target, the beam will certainly be affected by the turbulence, and that will degrade its quality, which will have a negative impact on the accuracy and precision of the laser system. Meanwhile, the combined effect of jet and atmospheric turbulence on the propagation of airborne partially coherent array beams has been investigated by.…”
