Correction of recurrent entropion in Chinese patients

Abstract: We present a technique to correct recurrent entropion and trichiaisis in Chinese patients on the upper and lower eyelids using a rotation flap consisting of pretarsal skin and orbicularis oculus muscle, together with epicanthal Z-plasty. Ten patients (aged 15-29 years; 22 eyelids) underwent corrective surgery using this technique. They were followed up for 2-24 months.
