Correction of hypozincemia following liver transplantation in children is associated with reduced urinary zinc loss

Abstract: Zinc deficiency is a relatively common problem in children with chronic liver disease. We have previously shown inappropriate urinary zinc excretion in children with chronic liver disease and hypozincemia.
