Coronary artery bypass surgery in the second decade of life

Abstract: Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) is an autosomal dominant disorder of lipid metabolism. These patients develop coronary artery disease in the second or third decade of life, but patients requiring a coronary artery bypass in the second decade of life is rare.
