Abstract:ObjectivesTo investigate the wound healing of rabbit cornea following infrared laser irradiations at the wavelengths of 1.319 and 10.6 μm.Materials and MethodsTwelve New Zealand rabbits were selected to establish a corneal injury model. The right and left eyes were irradiated with a neodymium‐doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser at the wavelength of 1.319 μm (140 J/cm2) for 0.7 s and a CO2 laser at the wavelength of 10.6 μm (5.94 J/cm2) for 0.14 s, respectively.
