Abstract: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are frequently administered orally with modified-release formulations. The attainment of modified-release drugs is commonly achieved through the coprecipitation of the active principle with a biodegradable polymeric carrier in the form of micro or nanoparticles.
