“…Electrochemical immunosensors (EIs) have received considerable attention due to their high sensitivity, low cost, simple instrumentation and operation, and inherent miniaturization [ 214 , 215 , 216 ]. They show great potential in the next-generation of point-of-care (POC) diagnostics for early detection and monitoring of diseases.…”

“…Functional organic–inorganic hybrid materials are currently under the spotlight of material research. These tailor‐made materials with remarkable chemical and physical properties find applications in capacitors, biomedicine, batteries, solar cells, fuel cells, biosensors, and as heterogeneous catalysts . To be specific, there are recent reports on photocatalyst materials used for wastewater disinfection and decontamination, water splitting and hydrogen production, and targeted cancer cells therapy .…”

“…CuS obtained from this method successfully decomposed 95% of higher concentrations of MB (1000 mg L −1 ) in visible light spectrum in just 20 min with the assistance of H 2 O 2 by Photo‐Fenton type reactions, these kind of reactions are well considered for advanced oxidation processes for waste containments in water. Whereas, two recent reports on functionalized CuS catalyst are also available to use it in medical field applications, such as CuS‐functionalized ZnO nanoflakes for photo electrochemical immunoassay and CuS‐functionalized nanohybrid of molybdenum disulfide used for immunoassay of myoglobin in cardiovascular disease via electrochemical approach . Fenton‐like reactions of CuS were also reported elsewhere …”
