Copper Metabolism and Epilepsy: A Preliminary Report

Abstract

SUMMARY A comparison is made between the total copper level in the blood of epileptic and asthmatic patients, who have got the same diet during two weeks. A significant higher copper level is found in the epileptic patients, which is a further support of the work of Canelas et al. RÉSUMÉ L'auther fait une comparaison du taux de cuivre total dans le sang de sujets épileptiques et de sujets asthmatiques ayant suivi le même régime alimentaire pendant deux semaines. Il trouve un taux de cuivre significativement plus élevé chez les épileptiques, confirmant ainsi les observations préalables de Canelas et al.
