Abstract:A novel porous and magnetic nanoparticle, composed of Fe3O4/MCM‐41 functionalized with a kryptofix‐21 crown ether, has been successfully synthesized. This was achieved through the treatment of 3‐chloropropyl functionalized Fe3O4/MCM‐41 with the crown ether, followed by the grafting of Cu (II) onto the material, resulting in the formation of Fe3O4/MCM‐41/kryptofix‐21/Cu.
