Copper-Hydroxo Chelates of Clofibric Acid (CA): Reaction of Cu2+ with CA

Abstract: 2-(p-Chlorophenoxy)-2-Methylpropionic acid or (Clofibric acid (CA) chemical formula C 10 H 11 ClO 3 ) is a ligand that binds to Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorsalpha (PPARα). This ligand has two centers of attachments that can chelate a variety of metal ions.
