Copolymers of vinylferrocene and vinylimidazole for potential sensing applications

Abstract: Since imidazole is easily protonated and well known to coordinated to various transition metals, its incorporation into a polymer with ferrocene may result in interesting electronic interactions between the ferrocenyl and imidazolium moieties.
