“…Figure 4(a) shows the DSC cooling scans of PLLA‐ b ‐PEB‐ b ‐PLLA with different block compositions. A sharp and high intensity crystallization peak of PEB at around 52.1 °C can be observed, which is consistent with previous research . With increasing PLLA content, the peaks become weaker, while only a broad and weak crystallization peak of the PLLA unit at around 100 °C can be observed due to its less crystalline nature.…”

“…Ethylene brassylate (EB) is one of the most commonly seen macrolactones. Fortunately, a novel catalyst such as triphenyl bismuth has been applied for the ROP of macrolactones and high molecular weights have been achieved . Poly(ethylene brassylate) (PEB) has poly(ε‐caprolactone)‐like properties with low T g (−30 °C) and excellent toughness (elongation at break higher than 1000%), which makes PEB an ideal mid‐block component of triblock copolymers.…”

“…For the hybrid system, the crystallography features were further determined by WAXS measurements. As shown in Figure 8, it could be observe that the WAXS profile of DA-PEBF-0 exhibited two diffraction peaks at 2θ = 14.2° and 15.8°, which correspond to the (110) and (200) crystallographic planes of pristine poly(ethylene brassylate) (PEB), respectively [50]. This result indicated that the DA crosslinked network did not strongly inhibit the crystallization of the EB segments.…”

“…The copolymerization of ω‐PDL with other lactones, having conventional ring‐size, has been already described in the literature to give both block and random copolymers. Conversely, the copolymerization of other macrolactones, such as ethylene brassilate, with smaller lactones was also described in the literature . Copolymerization of semiaromatic macrolactones, the cyclic butylene terephthalate oligomers, with pentadecalactone has been also reported .…”
