Coping With Crowding in High-Density Kampung Housing of Jakarta

Abstract: This study aims to draw attention to the architecture of kampung  housing, as an attempt to identify those circumstances under which people live in the context of limited space. A kampung housing is a dense non-formally planned cluster of residential dwellings in urban area, which are packed together in a contiguous area created by a large number of migrants.
