“…Half are just like P. inflatus in lacking a pair of postero-lateral protrusions (in the form of hooks or stylets) on the cephalosome. Three of those similar species (P. acanthopagri Roubal, 1981; P. dentatus Ho, Jayarajan & Radhakrishnan, 1992;and P. remulus Cressey, 1970) can be easily distinguished from the present species in having a normal (uninflated) endopod on leg 1. The other three species are P. lagoonaris Paperna, 1969, P. minutus (Fryer, 1956) and P. reductus Ranga Reddy & Kasaiah, 1994.…”
