In another recent work, Yang et al adapted a sustainable strategy to fabricate rGO sheets from upcycling of spent carbon cathode (SCC) and through the study of different heat treatment rates of SCC materials, [32] he has discovered that the fast heating rate at 8 °C min −1 can give rise to more defects formation on the SCC-2600@rGO-8 electrode, as verified by Raman measurements (Figure 2e) indicated with a low intensities ratio of D and G bands.
