The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of core fundamental nursing skills education using clinical scenario on self-leadership, problem solving ability and knowledge in nursing students. Data were collected from August 2015 and December 2015 from 104 nursing students who S university in Chungcheong-do. Data were analysed paired t-tests, ANOVA, and pearson correlation coefficients using SPSS 23.0. The result shows the scores of problem solving ability(t=-3.61, p<.001) and knowledge(t=-8.34, p<.001) were increased significantly after core fundamental nursing skills education. According general characteristics, the score of self-leadership with interpersonal relationship(t=-2.47, p=.016), academic achievements(F=9.06, p<.001) and the score of knowledge with age(F=9.06, p<.001)were significantly different. Also, there was a positive correlation between self-leadership and problem solving ability(r=.40,
