Convergence in generic pronouns: Language contact and Faroesemann

Abstract: Despite state-driven language policy against Danish linguistic influence, the Faroese language has borrowed the Danish generic pronoun mann 'one'. As in Danish, this pronoun varies with generically used tú 'you'.
