Abstract:Exogenous progesterone is used to manage obstetric indications associated with reduced progesterone activity. This review examined evidence for oral natural micronised progesterone (NMP) and NMP-SR, a sustained-release formulation designed to overcome the limitations of conventional oral NMP.
