Abstract:Extremely important for water electrolysis are the rational design and investigation of oxygen evolution reaction (OER) electrocatalysts with excellent performance and long-term durability and that are precious metal-free. Herein, we demonstrate the convenient synthesis of a nitrogen-doped carbonwrapped nickel cobalt alloy (NiCo 2 @NC) by pyrolysis of the metal complex. The results indicate that the ideal Ni/Co ratio and NC wrapping can provide high C dl , low charge transfer resistance, and long-term durabili… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
