Controlling SCIG-based Wind Turbine to Satisfy the Power System Operator’s Requirement

Abstract: In this paper, the integration of a battery system into a SCIG-wind farm is investigated so that this wind farm satisfies the grid code's two requirements including active power control and ride through fault ability. A control scheme coordinating between the battery system and the wind turbine's pitch control system is proposed.
