Abstract: Nanopores are powerful tools for single‐molecule sensing of biomolecules and nanoparticles. The signal coming from the molecule to be analyzed strongly depends on its interaction with the narrower section of the nanopore (constriction) that may be tailored to increase sensing accuracy.
