Controllerbereichserfolg aus Sicht des Managements

Abstract

Darüber hinaus gilt mein Dank dem Sekretariat des Lehrstuhls und hier insbesondere Fotini Noutsia, die mich unterstütz hat, wo sie nur konnte.Neben der Arbeit an der Dissertation war es auch die Arbeit am Lehrstuhl, die einen Großteil des Lehrstuhllebens ausgemacht hat. Hier möchte ich mich insbesondere bei meinen beiden Kollegen des Team Telekoms -Marc Lesch und Hendrik Grieshopbedanken. Sie sind nicht nur Kollegen gewesen, sondern auch Freunde geworden.Stellvertretend für alle Lehrstuhlkollegen, die immer wieder für die notwendige Abwechslung vom Forscheralltag gesorgt haben, möchte ich nur ein paar von ihnen Vorwort VIII nennen und mich bei ihnen für die schöne Zeit bedanken:

The Influence of Management Accounting Departments Within German Municipal Administrations

“…Second, we are able to demonstrate that effective and efficient management accountants as well as the acceptance of management accountants in the municipal administration (the relevance of the management accounting department) not only mitigate the negative effect of administrative size on the success of the municipality, but can transform it into a positive effect. It is possible to demonstrate the positive relationship between the integration of the management accountant´s advice in management decisions and the success of an enterprise (Zoni and Merchant, ; for further empirical evidence, see Sill, ). Therefore, we can formulate our third hypothesis: H3: The high relevance of the management accounting department mitigates the negative influence of size on the performance of municipal administrations. …”
