Abstract: Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) is the most common type of cancer in the kidney and is mostly asymptomatic. Previous studies have supported the important role of sex hormones in RCC pathophysiology and that targeted hormone receptor therapy, such as estrogen receptor targeting, is a promising treatment strategy.
