Controlled Chitosan Molecular Weight Reduction by Mechanochemical and Aging-based Phosphoric Acid Hydrolysis

Abstract: Chitosan is typically produced by the deacetylation of biopolymer chitin. Its molecular weight (Mw) is a function of the chitin source and the deacetylation conditions.
