Control of A. Californica on Lettuce, Salinas, 1975

Abstract: Lettuce ‘Calmar’ planted two rows per bed February 24, 1975, was sprayed April 29, using a CO2 back pack sprayer equipped with a single bed hand held boom fitted with 6 Spraying Systems T-jet 8002 flat fan nozzles operated at 40 psi to deliver 100 gal/a dilute spray. Plots were two beds (40 inch centers) x 66 feet, replicated 3 times in a randomized complete block design.
