Abstract:BackgroundCystic hydatidosis (CH), a neglected parasitic zoonosis, is endemic in many parts of Kenya and could be spread along livestock marketing chains. Poor knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) enables this spread in remote areas with inadequate public health services.
