Contribution $agrave$ l'$eacute$tude de l'effect de la pression sur le couple platine/platine-rhodi$eacute$ 10%

Abstract: Measurements of the variation with pressure of the melting temperatures of gold and silver have been performed with a platinum/platinum-10% rhodium thermocouple under hydrostatic conditions. From the results, we deduce a decrease of thermocouple EMF with pressure which corresponds to 0·5±0·2 °C kbar−1 in the temperature range 960-1100 °C.
