Contrastive Approach to Numeric Usage in Japan and in the Abajadun Method

Abstract: Purpose: The article presents both numeric implementation in Japan and the Arabic gematrical calculation (hisababajadun) in Indonesia. It is common for the people in Japan and Indonesia to believe in the power of numerals and to assume whether or not certain digits induce bad luck.
