Contrasting reef fish diversity and abundance in the Derawan Islands: A multi-temporal observations

Abstract: Derawan Island, East Kalimantan Province, is located in the coral triangle, the center of mega biodiversity of the world's marine life, including reef fish. In this study, reef fish data were collected from 1994, 2003, and 2019 at six islands (Panjang, Derawan, Samama, Sangalaki, Kakaban, and Maratua) in Derawan Islands using the Underwater Visual Census (UVC) technique.
