Gli studi retrospettivi su tali casi individuano come maggiori fattori di rischio l'ipercalcemia, la disidratazione, l'infezione e l'uso di antibiotici nefrotossici, la proteinuria CLLM, e non la somministrazione intravenosa di MdC, come precedentemente sospettato [34,35]. In un paziente mielomatoso queste condizioni sono pertanto fattori di rischio di IRA da diagnosticare indipendentemente dalla somministrazione di MdC.…”
