Abstract: Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) is an evolving technique for the detection and characterization of focal liver lesions. Currently, it is recommended mainly for inconclusive cases and for patients with contraindications to computed tomography (CT)/magnetic resonance imaging.
