Contractive projections in Paley-Wiener spaces

Abstract

Let S1 and S2 be disjoint finite unions of parallelepipeds. We describe necessary and sufficient conditions on the sets S1, S2 and exponents p such that the canonical projection P from P W p S 1 ∪S 2 to P W p S 1 is a contraction.
