Contour-Based Metric for the Evaluation of Image Defogging without a Ground Truth

Abstract: Fog, haze, or smoke are usual atmospheric phenomena that dramatically compromise the overall visibility of any scene, critically affecting features such as illumination, contrast, and contour detection of objects.
