Contorted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with cove regions and zig-zag edges

Abstract: Three tetrapyrene-fused benzocoronenes were synthesized by a “bottom-up” approach, which offers a facile access to extended polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with cove regions and zig-zag edges.
