Continuum Color as an Indicator of Corona Expanding
Abstract: The 2D distribution of the relative color index for the corona of July 11, 1991 reveal the reddening effect for the whole corona. This is interpreted as the shift of the corona continuum to the red as compared with the photosphere spectrum and is explained by the outward bulk flow speed of the coronal electrons.
