Abstract:Introduction: Perifoveal exudative vascular anomalous complex (PEVAC) is an underdiagnosed macular entity. A striking feature of this entity is the unresponsiveness to anti-VEGF treatment. Continuous wave milipulse yellow laser 577 nm (CWMYL-577) has a high absorption peak for oxyhaemoglobin, which allows for low power density use. Purpose: To report a case of a PEVAC-like lesion unresponsive to anti-VEGF and corticosteroids, successfully treated with a single session of minimally invasive focal laser, using C… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
