Continued rapid growth in 68Ga applications: update 2013 to June 2014

Abstract: The worldwide utilization of (68) Ga-radionuclide for the fundamental research and clinical applications is growing exponentially. A broad range of (68) Ga-based imaging agents has been explored during recent years. The development of new clinically useful agents is encouraged by many factors; for example, increasing role of positron emission tomography (PET) in nuclear medicine, discovery of new biomarkers, accessibility of (68) Ga, and establishment of PET radiopharmaceutical regulation and legislation. The … Show more

“…The pHpotentiometric titrations were made with standardized 0.2 M NaOH. (1): N,N´-dibenzylethylenediamine (3.00 g; 12.48 mmol) and Na 2 CO 3 (5.12 g; 48.67 mmol) were stirred at room temperature in dry acetonitrile (50 mL) for 30 min. Tert-butylbromoacetate (4.64 g; 23.72 mmol), dissolved in dry acetonitrile (10 mL), was added at room temperature over period of 30 min.…”

“…The Ga 3+ -DATA m and Ga 3+ -DATA 5m equilibrium systems have also been investigated by 1 The 1 H-and 71 Ga-NMR data have also been used to calculate the stability and protonation constants of Ga(DATA m ) and Ga(DATA 5m ) complexes by taking into account the integrals of Figure 2; Ga(DATA 5m ): CH 3 -N-(2.35 ppm), see Figure S1; and 71…”
