Пандемия, вызванная коронавирусом COVID-19, убедительно показала, что в XXI в. трансформируется само понятие безопасности. Повальные эпидемии, массовая незаконная миграция, международный терроризм, экологические катастрофы, новые формы национализма, кибертехнологии и нехватка ресурсов бросают вызов традиционным военным угрозам, которые всегда находились в центре внимания международного сообщества. Несомненно, в списке новых невоенных угроз на первое место выдвинулась пандемия, вызванная коронавирусом COVID-19, которая поставила вопрос о переосмыслении самой концепции безопасности. В статье анализируются феномен нексуса пандемии и безопасности, а также последствия этого явления для жизнедеятельности Европейского союза и его государств-членов. В частности, автор исследует угрозы, которые представляет пандемия для гуманитарной безопасности или основ человеческой жизни, экономической безопасности, социально-политической стабильности и, в конечном счете, для будущего европейской интеграции. Автор доказывает, что ответ ЕС на разрушительные последствия коронавируса будет тестом на его состоятельность как уникального интеграционного объединения, способного стать полнокровным центром силы в постпандемических международных отношениях. Заголовок статьи “Безопасность ЕС: микроагрессия с макропоследствиями” метафоричен и призван подчеркнуть обманчивое восприятие масштаба новой невоенной угрозы.
