Context for Practice

Abstract

Nursing (JWOCN) combines cutting-edge research and synthesized knowledge in all areas of our caring community (foot & nail, continence, ostomy, and wound care) with informed insights into how to handle bullying in the workplace and use of social media for housing of resources for WOC nurses. This issue also marks the midpoint of volume 50 of JWOCN and celebrates a half-century of providing the latest knowledge for WOCN Society members and our global care community. This issue's Ostomy Care section opens with a timely and lucid report of a study that examined predictors of hospital readmission for patients undergoing creation of an intestinal ostomy.
