Abstract

WSTĘPDyrektywa (IED) 2010/75/UE z dnia 24 listopada 2010 r. w sprawie emisji przemysłowych -zintegrowane zapobieganie zanieczyszczeniom i ich kontrola (Dz. U. UE L 334 z 17.12.2010), nałożyła na kraje członkow-skie UE m.in. szereg obowiązków związanych z terenami przemysłowymi. Zasady postępowa-nia z tymi obszarami poszczególni członkowie UE implementowali i odpowiednio dostosowali do swojego systemu prawnego.Postępowanie z terenami przemysłowymi w krajach europejskich jest zróżnicowane. W niektórych państwach, jak np. w Wielkiej Brytanii i na Słowacji nie wprowadzono standardów jakości gleby i ziemi oraz standardów jakości wód podziemnych. Identyfikację terenów zanieczyszczonych w Wielkiej Brytanii wykonuje się indywidualnie dla badanego terenu na podstawie poziomu szkody i ryzyka, że szkoda ta może wystąpić, a także wprowadzonych wytycznych. Określono w nich zasady weryfikacji wystąpie-nia zanieczyszczenia na badanym terenie przy CONTAMINATION OF THE EARTH'S SURFACEON INDUSTRIAL AREAS IN TERMS OF NEW LEGISLATION. PART II: ASSESMENT APPROACH ABSTRACTThe article describes how to conduct the assessment of the earth's surface contamination in industrial areas in terms of new legislation. Identification of contaminated sites is carried out during the five-step procedure by which there are examined physical and chemical properties of substances posing the risk and environmental conditions of the studied area in the context of possible migration of pollutants in the environment. In a case of substances for which no permitted limits were specified in the Polish legal system, the identification of contaminated sites is carried out on the basis of risk exposure to human health and the environment.
