Abstract: A convenient synthetic protocol for diverse fused chromenes was successfully developed by a three-component reaction of alkyl isocyanides, dialkyl but-2-ynedioates, and various cyclic 1,3-dipolarophiles containing o-hydroxyphenyl group.
