Abstract: Background: Hydrogels loaded with antimicrobial agents have been widely developed for the treatment of infected wound defects. However, hydrogels derived from a porcine dermal extracellular matrix (PADM), containing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), have not yet been studied.
