Construction of a prognostic value model in papillary renal cell carcinoma by immune-related genes

Abstract: Papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) is the second most common type of renal carcinoma following clear cell renal cell carcinoma, and the role of immune-related genes (IRGs) in tumorigenesis and metastasis is evident; its prognostic value in PRCC remains unclear. In this study, we downloaded the gene expression profiles and clinical data of patients with PRCC from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and obtained IRGs from the ImmPort database. A total of 371 differentially expressed IRGs (DEIRGs) were dis… Show more

“…IL13RA2 was overexpressed in AI CRCs. This molecule is an immune-related DEG for papillary renal cell carcinoma with prognostic value 19 . Pathway analysis revealed notable DEGs; the list includes B cell receptor signaling, RAR activation, IL15 signaling, Notch signaling, and EIF2 signaling (Table 1C ).…”

“…In addition, CCL19 also participates in the oncogenesis and progression of renal cancer. CCL19 is a critical component of an immune-related prognostic classifier for the prognostic evaluation of patients with papillary renal cell carcinoma ( Wang et al, 2021 ). In addition, the CCL19/CCR7 axis could be a promising target for tumor gene therapy in type 2 papillary renal cell carcinoma according to Liu et al ’s report ( Liu et al, 2020 ).…”
