“…There was no significant shift in the peak positions of SQDs in the presence of both metal ions, except in the SO group. The characteristic peak corresponding to the SO group was found at 1111 cm −1 75,76 and significantly changed in the presence of metal ions. The peak was split into two/another new band was observed at 1133 cm −1 (Pb( ii )) and 1131 cm −1 (Bi( iii )); also, the reduction in the peak intensity was reported compared to other vibrations which may be due to the bonding interactions between S and metal ions, 77 and Hg( ii ) interaction with the sulfur was also found at the approximate wavenumber.…”
